What Direct Services Can Provide for You

When your senior is still living independently, we recognize the importance of providing them with easy, accessible, and affordable ways to build their community and enjoy their interests. Our Senior Centers are operated with that philosophy in mind: community, nutrition, and fun are necessities that everyone should have access to!

Direct Services operates six Senior Centers located in the Georgia counties of:

  • Clay
  • Harris
  • Muscogee
  • Randolph
  • Stewart
  • Talbot

Nutrition is central to the goal of promoting physical and mental health for eligible senior adults who attend our centers.

Congregate meals are served at noon on weekdays, while health, fitness, and other enrichment activities are provided at a variety of times depending on which center you attend.

Some Senior Center activities include:

  • Field Trips
  • Games

Attendance at the Senior Centers will enrich the social life and independent living faculty of your senior adult.

The Community Care Services Program (CCSP) is our flagship program at Direct Services and assists seniors and individuals with physical disabilities to live in their own homes or with their families or caregivers.

Home Delivered Meals

The Home Delivered Meals Program provides meals, nutritional screening, assessment, education, and counseling to you, as a caregiver, and your family member receiving this service.

The target group for these services are persons who are functionally impaired in their ability to perform regular activities of daily living and activities related to maintaining the home.

Caregiver Time Out
